Join us on April 18 for The Feast Worldwide, a day of global dinner parties in 40+ cities across 6 continents. The goal? To spark collaboration that drives local entrepreneurs and social initiatives forward.
This year, Little Mountain Learning Academy’s Academic Director, Jacqueline Stewart will be speaking at the event, discussing how youthful creativity and energy can be a force for positive change in our society. A ticket to The Feast Vancouver buys you an inspiring evening of collaboration with Jacqueline, an esteemed panel of guests, and local community members – all working toward practical solutions to some of our society’s most pressing problems.
Jacqueline Stewart: Inspiring Students to Reach their Full Potential
A certified secondary teacher with eight years of high school teaching experience, Jacqueline plays a leading role in curriculum design, tutoring and educational success planning at LMLA – Vancouver’s leading English language school.
Jacqueline’s focus is always on helping students reach their full potential through a holistic teaching and learning model that moves well beyond rote memorization and recall. An experienced and certified International Baccalaureate teacher, she creates ESL courses and enriched IB programs such as Technology and Drama, Public Speaking and Debate, which help learners develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
This emphasis on a more expansive model of teaching and learning – and the inspiring growth it inspires – prompts Jacqueline’s participation in international movements like The Feast Worldwide, where industry leaders join local citizens to think outside the box, and make positive changes across the globe.
How does The Feast Worldwide Make Change Happen?
The idea is simple. We’re hosting a dinner around the future we want for our city. We’re inviting incredible entrepreneurs to share their work making it happen. Choose one to sit with over dinner – and instead of talking about problems, talk about ways to support each other, collaborate, and make things work a tiny bit better. At the end of the dinner, we’ll seal the night with a commitment: one small action we can take to move the world forward.
This dinner is about connecting with each other over a simple meal and weighing into a global problem solving session. It’s a movement to get full on good.
